The Hindu Business Line : GKB Opticals opens showroom in Vizag

GKB Opticals, a leading manufacturer of ophthalmic lenses and retail seller of optical products, opened its showroom here at Dondaparthi on Saturday. It is the twenty-first showroom of the company in the country.

Mr Sanjeev Gupta, the Chief Executive Officer, said on the occasion that in the next two years thirty such showrooms would be opened in the country.

He said the company had formed a joint venture with the French company, Essilor, with fifty per cent equity apiece and was manufacturing and selling quality lenses and frames. The company's frames were being sold in the range of Rs 400 to Rs 3,000 and above Rs 3,000 the international brands were being sold in the showroom.
