Questa Software, Mumbai, won the National Finals of `TATA Crucible - The Business Quiz 2006' organised by the TATA Group on Sunday. Mr Manish Tandon and Mr Amit Panclega walked away with a cash prize of Rs 2 lakh after witnessing some serious business quizzing with seven other equally tough components from the entire country.

Questa Software was the youngest company on stage in the final round, but their strategy throughout the five rounds of quizzing got them through. "We rate ourselves a 5/10 to win the quiz," the winning team said at the beginning of the quiz.

The other finalists included Sify India, Accenture, ICICI Lombard, Vizag Steel, Kotak Insurance, Zensar Technologies and SBI Life.

Hat-trick

Earlier in the day, Internal Track, a business quiz for the Tata group employees was conducted. Tata Consultancy Services from Kolkata won the quiz for the third time in a row. Mr Sabyasachi Chandra from TCS Kolkata, the third time national champion stole the show with an outstanding performance with his partner Mr Biswabijoy Sen.

The Quizmaster, Mr Giri Balasubramaniam, said "Mr Sabyasachi's matter-of-fact, pat delivery of correct answers made the toughest of questions look so simple."
