Targets automotive, construction sectors

Hyderabad , July 24

Munjal eSystems, technology solutions provider belonging to the diversified Rs 14,000-crore Hero Group, is in the process of setting up a centre in the South targeting the growing automotive and construction industry.

The Deputy Chief Executive, Hero Corporate Service Ltd, Ms Shefali Munjal, said the automotive industry is on a fast track and their ancillary units too are growing at a rapid pace.

Speaking to Business Line, Ms Munjal said: "The company has developed solutions that are just right for the automotive industry. What started as an in-house effort has become a separate service offering over the last three years. We now have over 60 clients across the country and have begun to make inroads into the South with a few deployments such as with Caparo and Sharada Industries, and feel the potential is huge."

Pact with Watermark

MeS has leveraged its partnership with Microsoft and expertise in Microsoft Dynamics Navision platform to offer solutions to automotive companies and those in the discreet manufacturing segments. It recently entered into a partnership with Watermark, UK, which operates out of 17 European countries.

"While MeS expects to tap the European market with this partnership, the UK company can look at the market opportunity here leveraging our services from the Indian perspective", she said.
