Assocham has suggested to the RBI to evolve schemes for credit flow to sectors such as manufacturing, agriculture and agri-business, small, medium and tiny enterprises, rural housing and infrastructure development.

As the quarterly review of the RBI's monetary policy for 2006-07 is due on Tuesday, the chamber has said that there should be a supportive environment to encourage new investments in the core sector, particularly in neglected areas of infrastructure development.
