CIAL to form 3 panels

The Board of Directors of the Cochin International Airport Ltd (CIAL) has decided to form three committees to take care of the future plans of the company.

One of the committees, to be chaired by Dr Thomas Isaac, Minister for Finance, will look into matters related to share transfer of the company. An audit committee is also in the offing, which will be chaired by Mr `Galfar' Mohammed, one of the board members.

A third committee is being formed to help the Board Director and this will be chaired by Mr S. Sarma, Minister for Fisheries.

At the meeting held here on Tuesday, a proposal was made for setting up an IT park on 35 acres of land owned by CIAL.
