Cement NCL Industries net, turnover zoom Our Bureau
Hyderabad , July 25 NCL Industries has logged impressive profit and turnover for the first quarter ended June 30. The net profit before tax increased by 516 per cent to Rs 6.17 crore against Rs 1 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. In terms of turnover, the company reported a sales turnover of Rs 46.55 crore against Rs 24.87 crore, a growth of 87 per cent. The NCL declared its unaudited financial results for the quarter today. All the three divisions of cement, boards and prefab have recorded good growth during the quarter. The cement division turnover was up from Rs 15.16 crore to Rs 28.77 crore, a growth of about 90 per cent. The company produced 91,986 tonne during the quarter against 80,795 tonne. The boards division achieved a turnover of Rs 7.80 crore (Rs 5.98 crore), a jump of 30 per cent. The prefab division logged Rs 9.99 crore (Rs 3.72 crore), an increase of 168 per cent. In a press release, NCL industries said its expansion projects increasing the clinker capacity; setting up of a new grinding unit near Vijayawada and a new board project in Himachal Pradesh with investments of over Rs 68 crore were progressing as per schedule.
