MR SRIKANTH RAMACHANDRAN

Chennai, July 26

NTrust Infotech, an IT and KPO services provider to the real estate leasing industry, has invested about Rs 6.75 crore to set up its second knowledge centre in Chennai. The company also has a development centre in Chennai. The 160-seater centre will be operational from August and offer consultancy and services such as lease data management and lease abstraction with focus on tenants.

"Real estate lease management is the second highest expenditure for companies after payroll processing," said Mr Srikanth Ramachandran, CEO & President, NTrust Infotech. He said one employee handled about 70 leases and most companies had about 7,000 leases to manage. Though there were no figures to quantify the size of the Indian market, he said the off-shorable lease market (out of the US) was worth about Rs 49,500 crore ($11 billion).

The company has 16 clients abroad and is targeting real estate service providers such as Cushman and Wakefield, and Equis in India.
