Kingston firms up marketing plans

Our Bureau

Bangalore, July 26

Kingston Technology has set up the India sales team for both its memory module and flash products and also firmed up its distribution channel and marketing strategy for India. The India team will forge relationships with customers throughout the country and complement the authorised distributors of Kingston products in India, including AA Infoways, Avnet, Ingram Micro, Kobian and Transtek. "Our revamped distribution strategy will not only help us to service our customers in India, but also enable us to counter the growing menace of counterfeit memory products," said Mr Scott Chen, Vice-President, APAC Business Development, Kingston Technology. With a structured distribution channel in place, Kingston plans to launch various marketing campaigns only from authorised Kingston distributors in India.
