New Projects Kale Consultants set to expand Our Bureau
Pune , July 26 Kale Consultants Ltd, a player in travel solutions, is all set to expand with a new software development facility at Noida and a managed process services (BPO) centre in Pune. It is also entering into outsourcing services for the travel and transportation space. Talking to presspersons after the annual general meeting, Mr Vipul Jain, Managing Director, said both the facilities are expected to become operational by October. Pune would be the second BPO location, the first one being in Mumbai, and would have about 150 seats by the end of the year. The Pune centre would look at servicing the new customers and would act as a back-up disaster recovery centre for the Mumbai operations. He said managed process services contribute about 55 per cent to the company's total turnover. The Noida facility would be an extension to the existing facility and would cater to IT services. It would add another 100 people taking the total to 190. Mr Jain said it is also expanding its outsourcing portfolio by offering end-to-end responsibility for development, maintenance, enhancement and global deployment of its their custom-built or packaged software applications.

Looking at the financials, he said the company has recorded revenues of Rs 17 crore for the first quarter ended June this year compared to Rs 12.97 crore for the corresponding quarter last year, registering an increase of 31 per cent. The profit after tax stood at Rs 1.68 crore.
