RINL jt venture with Manganese Ore

Visakhapatnam, July 28

Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd (Visakhapatnam Steel Plant) and Manganese Ore India Ltd have formed a joint venture, RINMOI, with 50:50 equity, to produce ferro-alloys. The manufacturing unit, with 60,000 tonnes per annum, is expected to go into production in the second quarter of 2007. It may be located near the steel plant and the project cost is estimated at Rs 80 crore
