Prajay Engineers Syndicate Ltd has recorded an income of Rs 37.16 crore and a net profit of Rs 13.2 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2006 as against an income of Rs 14.63 crore and a net profit of Rs 5.72 crore for the corresponding quarter last year. During the quarter, the company launched Prajay Celebrity, a gated community project, near Hyderabad and Prajay Harbour City, a large format integrated township located in Visakhapatnam, spread over 150 acres and hosting over 1,000 independent houses.
