Royal Orchid Hotels net up

Royal Orchid Hotels Ltd has recorded an 82 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 8.32 crore during the first quarter of the fiscal 2006-07 compared to Rs 4.5 crore during the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The company, which had announced major expansion plans after its recent IPO, would be increasing its presence in Mysore with its second hotel Royal Orchid Brindavan Garden, which would be followed by new hotels in Jaipur and Hyderabad by the year end.
