Call for more businessmen in Parliament

New Delhi, July 29

The newly elected Rajya Sabha member and industrialist, Mr Rahul Bajaj has called for larger representation of businessmen in Parliament for enabling industry to project its concerns better. "Industry that contributes heavily to the national GDP and creates employment opportunities should have a respected place in the society provided there is a larger representation of businessmen in the law-making institutions," Mr Bajaj said at a felicitation ceremony organised by Assocham.
