The net profit of FCI OEN has grown by 37 per cent to Rs 5.68 crore (Rs 4.14 crore) for the quarter ending June 30, 2006. Net sales income grew by 30 per cent to Rs 44.11 crore (Rs 33.96 crore). Sales in the export market grew by 31 per cent to Rs 26.38 crore (Rs 20.10 crore), while sales in the domestic market grew by 28 per cent to Rs 17.7 crore (Rs 13.85 crore). The company reported other income of Rs 3.76 crore and the gross profit grew by 50 per cent to Rs 8.44 crore (Rs 5.64 crore). The earnings per share grew to Rs 9.02, up from Rs 6.58 reported for the corresponding quarter of the previous year. — Our Bureau
