IMCL total income rises 24%

Indraprastha Medical Corporation Ltd (IMCL), holding company for the Delhi-based Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, has reported a 37 per cent increase in net profit in the quarter ended June 30 at Rs 4.52 crore compared to the same quarter last year. The company's total income in the quarter rose by 24 per cent to Rs 62.85 crore (Rs 50.65 crore). Meanwhile, the company on Saturday announced that it has entered into a healthcare facilitator agreement with an Ethiopian Group, Saint Yared Hospitals Holdings Plc. Under the agreement Apollo Hospitals will provide advanced healthcare services by holding regular outpatient consultations. Patients requiring advanced tertiary care will also be flown into India for further treatment.
