A DOORDARSHAN cameraman is surprised as one of the pigeons released before the traffic awareness walk "Think Road Safety", settles down on his lens. The walk, from NTR Trust Bhavan to Apollo Hospital in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad was organised to get the society involved in accident prevention measures and adopt a responsible attitude. Citizens have taken up this campaign with great enthusiasm in the twin cities on Sunday morning. According to police 1.2 million people, mostly within the age group of 25-45, die in road accidents in the country every year.
