Core groups set up on film industry

New Delhi, July 30

, The Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Mr Priyaranjan Dasmunsi, has said that five core groups would be constituted to examine issues relating to the film industry. During an interaction with representatives of the film industry, the Minister said the groups would look into the exports of films, piracy of films and film exhibition related issues, promotion, development and preservation of archives, tax concerns and those pertaining to film festivals in India and abroad.

The groups will have representatives from the film industry, the FICCI apart from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
