California Software Ltd has reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 69.53 lakh for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 compared with a net profit of Rs 58.18 lakh for the corresponding quarter last year.

Revenue was Rs 36.09 crore (Rs 21.70 crore), employee cost Rs 15.36 crore (Rs 10.50 crore) and interest Rs 73.86 lakh (Rs 50.13 lakh).

On a standalone basis, the Chennai-based software company reported a net profit of Rs 1.98 crore for the quarter (Rs 96.38 lakh).
