New Projects States - Kerala Confident Group plns to invest Rs 60 cr in Kerala Our Bureau
Kochi , July 31 The Bangalore-based construction company Confident Group has proposed to invest Rs 60 crore over a period of one year in Kerala to set up various projects including residential apartments, villas and resorts. The company had already made an investment of Rs 15 crore in Kochi to launch its two mega projects Confident Corona and Confident Peninsula the premium and limited edition villa projects and residential enclave coming up at suburban Kakkanad and Maradu.Speaking to reporters, Mr Roy C.J., Chairman and Managing Director, said that the hospitality division of the group also plans to open a resort in Kalpetta. and build apartments in Thrissur, Kozhikode and other cities, he added. The project at Kakkanad, he said, comprises of of 19 limited edition villas and 120 apartments in 3 acres of land. The Maradu project, facing the backwaters, has been identified for the premium villa project to be designed by SAA of Singapore. "We are targeting NRI clients for the Rs 1-crore plus villas and all the projects of the group are of international style designed by international designers, he added. The Rs 150-crore group currently has 28 ongoing projects in Bangalore on about 18 million square feet. Mr P. Sunil Krishnan, President and CEO, said that the airline division of the group plans to operate chartered aircraft aimed at making modern and luxury air traffic system affordable to common man. The company, which received the necessary permission from the Aviation Ministry, is looking for beach crafts to commence air service, which is likely to be launched in December this year.
