MIMS training programme at Hyderabad

MediCiti Institute of Medical Sciences (MIMS) here has introduced `self-development and life-skills' training programme, claimed to be the first of its kind in the country. The Chancellor of University of Pittsburgh, who inaugurated the programme on Monday, also laid foundation for the `Dr Hanimireddy Lakireddy Auditorium', at the MediCiti. Self-development and life-skills training programme is a preventive response to combat the tremendous academic pressure and resultant stress in the life of a medical student. The MIMS has introduced the programme in the curriculum. The MediCiti Hospital is a NGO reaching out to a population of about 4 lakh in Ranga Reddy district.
