MS announces contest winner

Microsoft Corporation India announced that Mr Abishek Kumarasubramanian from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras was selected for a one-year internship with Mr Bill Gates and would work directly with his technical assistant's team in Redmond.

He was selected under the Code 4 Bill initiative, announced by Mr Bill Gates during his last visit to India. The contest, for which 20,000 plus students registered, included three online technical challenges and two rounds of one-to-one interviews. Selected students interned with Microsoft India for a period of two months.
