`Well' named

The function was to celebrate Cairn Energy's oil finds in Rajasthan, and the Chief Minister, Vasundhra Raje, used the occasion to press home the point that her State was turning out to be one of the richest in that natural resource. The Petroleum Minister, Murli Deora, could not resist a dig at this claim and suggested that the next oil well discovered by the company should be named after the Chief Minister. Raje was quick to retort: "If the well is named after me, be sure it will give the highest yield."
