All server-maker members of the Itanium Solutions Alliance (ISA) will launch the new processor later this year. During the product launch, six new members (Indian software companies) joined the non-profit organisation (ISA) to enable and market key solution stacks, such as infrastructure software, for targeted segments around the Intel Itanium 2 platform.
