Shah Alloys Q1 net up at Rs 14.19 cr

Shah Alloys Ltd, a major stainless steel producer, has earned a net sales income of Rs 261.46 crore during the first quarter ended June 30, 2006. The company has earned a net profit of Rs 14.19 crore (Rs 10.11 crore). The profit before tax was Rs 16.18 crore, the company said in a release here on Wednesday.

While earnings from the domestic market amounted to Rs 214.77 crore, exports for the same period earned nearly Rs 69 crore. The basic and diluted EPS during the first quarter was Rs 7.96 (Rs 5.68 ).
