Western Digital to expand sales network

Western Digital, global hardware manufacturer, plans to expand its sales network to smaller towns in India in addition to metros as part of reaching out to new customers.

The company is conducting road shows to meet dealer partners in these areas to familiarise its newly introduced products in the market, Mr Sharad Srivastava, Director of Sales - India and South Asia, Western Digital told Business Line. Similar road shows will be conducted in Hyderabad and Coimbatore soon, he said.

Mr Srivastava, who was here in connection with the road show in Kerala, said that the company had already conducted a five-city road show across Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai and Kolkata for its partners to experience, first hand, the company's product offerings.
