BNA Tech to invest in expansion

Our Bureau

Bangalore, Aug. 4

BNA Technology Consulting has announced an investment of Rs 50 crore in expansion. Part of the investment will go into setting up a campus in Bangalore by 2008.

The campus will house the corporate office, network operating centre and contact centre. BNA also announced that it had re-aligned its business into two divisions — IT infrastructure and managed services, and Web-based services. The company will also shift focus from its infotainment projects to exports to the Middle East.

The Rs 19-crore company has also forayed into the BPO service business and has set up a 60-seater contact centre in Bangalore. "We are looking to increase capacity to 1,000 seats spread across four or five cities in the next six months or one year," said Mr Ranganathan V., Managing Director. Another new initiative is the e-store for Tier-II cities — called bnaITmart.com.
