BEML service centre in Hyderabad

Bharat Earth Movers Ltd (BEML) said it has opened a new zonal service centre in Hyderabad to cater to its construction sector customers in the southern States, Goa and Maharashtra. The service centre is spread over 1.7 acres in the Moulali Industrial Area and will take up engine overhaul, transmissions and final drives, a release said. It will also support certain non-BEML products to be upgraded in phases including repair and rehabilitation of heavy-duty mining and construction equipment such as dozers, dumpers, loaders, excavators, shovels and graders. BEML has full-fledged coal-belt related service centres in Bilaspur, Singrauli and Kolkata. The Minister of State for Defence, Mr M.M. Pallam Raju, opened the centre on Saturday.
