Tulip in pact with NTT arm

To offer VPN connectivity services to global customers based here

New Delhi , Aug. 7

Data connectivity solutions provider Tulip IT Services Ltd on Monday announced that it has entered into an agreement with Japanese telecom major Nippon Telegraph and Telephone's Indian subsidiary NTT Communication India Private Ltd to provide connectivity services to the latter's global customers based in India.

Under this agreement, NTT Com will offer its network integration solutions to its customers in India and will utilise Tulip's infrastructure to provide a complete end-to-end solution package. "Tulip will provide all help to NTT Comcustomers for connectivity using Tulip's countrywide virtual private network including provision of hardware and services. The term of the agreement is valid for one year with renewal conditions," said a press release.

Lt. Col. H.S. Bedi, Managing Director, Tulip IT Services, said, "This is a key milestone for Tulip as this collaboration provides an accelerated boost to the company's aggressive growth plans. NTT Com has proven solutions and our network offers them the infrastructure to run them on. We are confident that NTT Com's customers will gain tremendous upside from using our connectivity."

Mr Shin Miyanomoto, Managing Director, NTT Communications India Private Ltd, said: "Some of our customers in India have tried Tulip's network and we have received great feedback from them ."
