Pyramid Saimara ties up with SGC

Pyramid Saimara Theatre Ltd (PSTL), a Chennai-based theatre chain company, has tied up with Spirit Global Constructions (SGC), a Delhi-based real estate development group, to create family entertainment centres in North India. A press release quoting Mr P.S. Saminathan, Managing Director, PSTL, said that the company is planning to have 6,000 screens in over 1,700 places across India. He added that the tie up would help the company cover Punjab. Mr J.K. Malhan, Managing Director, SGC, said that an investment of Rs 2,000 crore would go into building 60 malls and multiplexes in North India, all of which are scheduled for completion within the next 36 months.
