TASTES GOOD: Palm jaggery being sold in Kochi, Kerala. The jaggery, priced Rs 5 a piece, is becoming popular in Kerala markets. The product mainly comes from the Tamil Nadu-Kerala border. It is made from palmyrah in Tamil Nadu, which has about 5.10 crore of the estimated 8.59 palmyrah trees in the country.
