Talking about Ministers, it was a surprise to find that the Power Minister, Sushil Kumar Shinde, is a poetry lover. Recently, he came across a book on poetry penned by a senior official in one of the public sector power utilities.

The Minister went to the trouble of locating the official, invited him to his office for a meeting and spent some 20 minutes discussing some of his poems.

The official was simply overwhelmed, one because he had an audience with the Minister and, two, he realised that Shinde had indeed read his poems carefully.
