Zensar plans to expand in Hyderabad

Hyderabad , Aug. 11

Software services provider Zensar Technologies Ltd plans to expand its Hyderabad operations once it moves into the new facility within the next three weeks.

This is part of the company's plan to induct about 800 people during the year. About 300 of them would be added in Hyderabad alone, to its existing 200, a number of whom were inducted through the acquisition of OakBrook Technologies.

Addressing a press conference here today, the Managing Director of Zensar, Mr Ganesh Natarjan, said that the company, which principally provides services in the areas of retail and financial services, is adding two more verticals - utilities and manufacturing. It has partnered with the Chennai-based Enzen Global for utilities solutions.

Zensar, with 3,250 people, has given a guidance of growth of about 30 per cent this fiscal, which means its revenues will far surpass the Rs 500 crore mark.

The company has created three technology hubs at Hyderabad, China and Poland, which serve as global delivery platforms.

As a part of its expansion in Andhra Pradesh, Zensar plans to partner the State Government and through them engage about 100 engineering colleges across 25 towns to offer them virtual learning facilities.

Book launch

The Zensar team was in Hyderabad to launch a book titled `Inspired', co-authored by Mr Ganesh Natarjan and Ms Manjari Gokhale. Those featured in the book include Bollywood actor Mr Dev Anand, Mr B. Ramalinga Raju of Satyam Computer and Mr Nandan Nilakeni of Infosys Technologies.
