Facing resistance

STAGNANT PRICES: Women engaged in a rubber processing unit near Kochi. Though sheet rubber prices have begun to rise on short supply, latex rates are stagnant on resistance from consumers. On Friday, latex was quoted at Rs 73.67 a litre, at Rs 5 lower than the prices that prevailed a month ago.
