MKU launches new MBA course

Madurai , Aug. 13

Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU) has a launched 2-year full time MBA Hospital Administration Course in collaboration with Meenakshi Mission Hospital and Research Centre here from the academic year 2006-2007.

The course content includes areas like health economics, human anatomy, health care marketing, hospital finance, legal aspects, hospital architecture, IT in health care, health insurance, managed care, managing quality and strategic management. Visit to various health care organisations and practical training in a hospital in the areas of operational management functions and Patient care cum supportive services form part of the course.

Any graduate is eligible to apply and preference will be given to sponsored candidates with work experience. The last date to apply is August 21. Application and prospectus can be downloaded from the website www.mkuniversity.org according to a press release.
