FLOOD EFFECT: A trader checking tomatoes at a retail outlet in Delhi. Prices have gone up again in view of low arrivals. Supplies have declined to a third of the normal level due to floods in the major growing areas of Maharashtra and Gujarat. Currently, tomatoes are ruling at Rs 25 a kg.
