IOL in pact with MTNL

IOL Broadband Ltd, which offers Internet services, has announced that it has signed a content delivery network affiliation contract with MTNL.

The tie-up will allow IOL to access over two lakh ADSL broadband customers of MTNL to offer them IPTV content, an IOL statement to the stock exchanges said. The service will include IPTV-Time Shifted Viewing and Video on Demand. Many Hindi and Hollywood movies are expected to be made available on demand via MTNL's network.

The company also plans to deploy broadband interactive services in SMEs and large corporate offices.
