MR DARSHAN MEHTA

Bangalore, Aug. 18

Arrow has launched its 56th store in the country. This store, spread over an area of 4,000 sq feet, on Brigade Road in Bangalore, is said to be Arrow's largest store in the world. Around Rs 2.5 crore has been invested in this store.

According to Mr Darshan Mehta, President, Arvind Brands, which retails the Arrow brand, "This store will offer the latest Arrow collections for both men and women. Separate sections devoted to suits and Arrow's Sport collection have been included to maximise shopping convenience." Arrow accessories such as caps, bags, ties, belts and socks will also be sold at the store.

Value-added services such as 24-hour response and Aristocracy, the loyalty programme, will also be available. Apart from aspects such as lighting and fixtures, visual merchandising has been given greater focus at this large store on a critical high street, said Mr Mehta. Eight more stores, at a total investment of Rs 10-11 crore, are expected to be opened by March 2007.
