G-Sec auctions fully subscribed

The auctions of the 8.07 per cent 10-year 2017 Government security and the 8.33 per cent 30-year 2036 G-Sec were fully subscribed.

In the case of the 8.07 per cent G-Sec, the notified amount was Rs 5,000 crore. The RBI received 314 competitive bids amounting to Rs 15,732.60 crore. The cut-off price was Rs 99.62 (8.123 per cent YTM). Of these, the RBI accepted 53 bids for a total amount of Rs 4980.25 crore, it said in a statement.

For the 8.33 per cent paper, the notified amount was Rs 3,000 crore. The RBI received 141 competitive bids amounting to Rs 7935.94 crore. The cut-off price was Rs 95.76 (8.7296 per cent YTM). Of these, the RBI accepted 58 bids for Rs 2993.71 crore.
