Climate change

According to a recent report, the summer is said to be intense in the North-East. Assam, in particular, is facing its hottest summer in 100 years. In recent times, many parts of India (and the world) are facing unusual weather conditions. Heavy rainfalls followed by unprecedented floods in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Orissa and Andhra Pradesh have created havoc.

The intensity of hurricanes is also increasing every year. Ice caps are melting faster Deserts are spreading. The Earth is warning us. It is hoped that governments will take action to protect the delicate ecological balance.
