Addressing presspersons at Karkala in Udupi district on Saturday, the Karnataka Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister, Mr C.M. Udasi, said that Rs 38 lakh each would be spent on these village panchayats for the next five years.

Each of these taluks will be given Rs 18 lakh to build `samarthya soudhas'. An additional Rs 3 lakh will be given to furnish them, Mr Udasi said.
