Visual Computing working on Ghoom 2

Visual Computing Labs, a division of the Bangalore-based Tata Elxsi is working on creating visual effects for comedy movie Ghoom 2.

MTV Networks' blockbuster spoof of Dhoom titled Ghoom hit cinema theatres last month under the TV channel's production banner Fully Faltoo Films. The new movie will be announced in two to three months' time, said Mr Sandeep Dahiya, Director - Communications & Consumer Products, MTV Networks India.

"We just launched the DVD for Ghoom We are still in the process of identifying and finalising the concept on the next movie," he said, refusing to give more details on the upcoming movie.

Visual Computing Labs will be creating special effects for the sequel to the 45-minute movie, according to an official at Tata Elxsi. Tata Elxsi recently worked on Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, executing more than 45 minutes of effects, according to the company.
