The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) has appointed Mr Pradeep Kar, founder and CEO of Microland as the President of its Bangalore chapter. In this capacity, Mr Kar will provide strategic direction towards enhancing the entrepreneurial climate in Bangalore. "The Bangalore chapter is one of the most vibrant in the TiE world. I look forward to strengthening the TiE vision of creating better informed and well connected entrepreneurs," said Mr Kar. TiE is a global not-for-profit organisation focused on promoting entrepreneurship. TiE helps budding entrepreneurs through advice, guidance and assistance. TiE's network spreads across 44 cities in nine countries that consists of successful and experienced as well as budding entrepreneurs, venture capital firms, angel investors, service providers, etc.
