MobileNxt opens store in Hubli

MobileNxt Teleservices Pvt Ltd, India's first mobile retail chain, opened a store in Hubli on Wednesday. This is the fifth MobileNxt store in the country and the second in Karnataka after Mangalore. Mobile Nxt offers a host of mobile products, services and value adds in its stores.

Mr Vijay Menon, Founder and CEO, MobileNxt, said, "Our primary focus is on creating an organised retail format in the under-served tier II and tier III cities whereas our presence in large metros will be through shop-in-shop formats and malls, thereby establishing a presence in the leading, relatively saturated markets of the country."

MobileNxt would be opening 31 stores by the end of this year and plans to venture into cities such as Mumbai and Bangalore soon, he added.
