Railways' coach and wheel production units have either met or crossed their production targets in the first four months this fiscal. Integral Coach Factory has produced 346 coaches, during the period April-July 2006 against a target of 338 coaches, said an official release. Rail Wheel Factory has also produced 45,214 wheels and 17,639 axles during the four-month period against a target of 44,257 wheels and 17,347 axles. The target of 63 locos by Diesel Locomotive Works, 37 electric locos by Chittaranjan Locomotive Works and 412 coaches by Rail Coach Factory for the same period have been met, added the statement.
