SBBJ raises deposit rate

New Delhi , Aug. 23

State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur (SBBJ) has increased the term deposits rates for the period of five years and more to be 8 per cent per annum.

This would enable the customers to double their deposit amounts in 8 years and 9 months, according to a bank release. Senior citizens, with 0.5 per cent higher interest rate, will be able to double the amount in 8 years and 3 months, the release added. SBBJ has also launched SBBJ Tax Saver Scheme wherein Rs 1 lakh may be invested every year for tax savings.
