VBC Ferro investment plans approved

Hyderabad , Aug. 24

The shareholders of VBC Ferro Alloys Ltd at the annual general meeting have approved the company's proposal to invest in Konaseema Gas Power Ltd and also in Karthik Rukmini Alloys & Energy Ltd.

The company has informed the stock exchanges that the shareholders have authorised the board of directors to acquire shares/invest in any body corporate from time to time.

However, the aggregate amount of all such investments should not exceed Rs 200 crore in Konaseema Gas Power Ltd, in addition to the existing limits.
