British Airways extends special fare offer

British Airways has announced a five-week extension of its special fares. The airline is offering flights to London for just Rs 16,500 and packages for any onward destination in the UK and Europe are available for a consolidated fare of Rs 20,000 and for travellers going to the US can avail themselves of a fare of Rs 33,000.

"The five-week extension is a response to the overwhelming interest the airline has received from its customers since the offer was introduced in June. This promotion is aimed at providing the best in terms of value for money, comfort and convenience to all our travellers," the company said in a press release quoting Ms Amanda Amos, Commercial Manager, British Airways.

To avail of these special fares, tickets must be booked before September 30, 2006 and the outbound travel date limit is February 28, 2007.

The offer fares are available in World Traveller class (economy) and are subject to availability.
