Aurobindo arm gets nod for drugs

Hyderabad, Aug. 26

Aurobindo Pharma Ltd has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary in South Africa has received the approval for four of its anti-retrovirals (ARVs) from the Medicines Control Council of South Africa. In a press release here on Saturday, the company said the four products meant for the treatment of HIV infection include lamivudine tablets 150 mg, zidovudine tablets 300 mg, nevirapine tablets 200 mg and combo drug of lamivudine 150 mg and zidovudine 300 mg.
