Oilseeds supply

This is with reference "Doha talks failure: Giving the India-Asean FTA a new thrust" (Business Line, August 24): India depends on imports to meet its demand for oilseeds. The author's suggestion that "there is no logic in protecting the interests of few farmers," will only discourage farmers growing oilseeds, and this could lead to crisis in its supply.
