PF arrears

Provident Fund subscribers, whose settlements were made partially last year on account of a delayed decision on interest rate for 2005-06, continue to suffer, as the arrears of interest for 2005-06 still have not been paid. This is despite the Circular (dated January 10) from the Central PF organisation (CPFO) advising all regional PF commissioners to settle claims by January 31. It is time the CPFO ensured that the dues were paid.
